I start my first dose of Camzyos tomorrow to see if it helps with my obstructive HCM symptoms. I’m a bit nervous 😟 — there are a lot of black box warnings ⚠️. I have my first follow-up ECHO next month 🩺.

What worries me most, though, is that while insurance has approved the medication and the company provides the first 35 doses free 💊, I still haven’t been set up with my insurance’s pharmacy — and no one has told me what my out-of-pocket cost will be. I’m afraid I’ll start this medication and then find out I can’t afford to continue it 💸.

And to make it harder, it can take up to three months to even become effective ⏳.
